Harkn
Harkn started as a management consulting business working with leadership teams on their "good to great" style story. As part of their work, they would ask people to describe their culture on its best imaginable day and how it was in that moment. The reality was far less inspiring. They found they were running the same exercises and have the same outcome every time. The truth was this was all largely down to a lack of insight beyond periodic surveys and informal mechanisms and so the concept of Harkn (or the Happiness Lab as it was originally called) was born. A platform that would allow stakeholders and decision makers to get insights and feedback from employees anonymously, identify patterns and resolve issues early to make their workplaces better.
For nearly a decade, 16i have worked very closely with the Harkn team essentially as an inhouse software development team and have continued to develop further functionality with key features as the product has expanded and helped hundreds of companies with their employee listening and engagement around the globe.
