What is DAM and how can it help my business?

DAM (Digital Asset Management) is a system that allows you to store and access all of your digital assets via one centralised brand portal, anytime, anywhere.
Built with user experience in mind, our DAM system allows businesses to unite their team, assets, and workflow on one platform, reducing search time and increasing efficiency.
There are many benefits to using a DAM system in your workplace, so we’ve compiled a list of some of the key reasons why more and more businesses are choosing to use them.
Reduce search time
Advanced search features including faceted, predictive search and simple filtering ensure files are always readily available, and therefore reduce the amount of time necessary to locate files. You can also filter by advanced options such as restrictions and usage.
Improve brand consistency
With the ability to group best-practice brand assets and guidelines into one central place, DAM makes sure that assets are properly stored, meaning data doesn’t get lost and most up-to-date logos, images, and marketing content are visible at all times.
Admin area
A built in admin area allows you to manage the different permission levels of colleagues and external agency members, in order to ascertain who can gain access to certain assets.
Multiple file types
DAM allows you to upload a range of different file types, including (but not limited to): PNG, GIF, SVG, PSD, PDF, AVI, AI, MOV, MPEG, JPEG, DOCX, XLXS, EPS and CSV. DAM is also customisable, so if there are any other file types you would need to upload, these can be added.
These are just a few examples of the functionality and key features of our DAM system. If you would like to hear more about how DAM can help your business, please feel free to drop us an email at hello@16i.couk, or give us a call on 01242 65400 and one of the team will be happy to help.
