Dynamic Lives • Website
Showcasing the dynamic lifestyle and very best of luxury villa holidays.
Dynamic Lives first approached us in 2016/2017 in need of a website overhaul with the addition of developing a completely new bespoke property management, concierge and reservation system exclusively for them that would solve all their unique challenges and problems. A sizeable project but one we were well suited to delivering.
We delivered with great success on both of these projects and have continued to evolve the project with George and his team every since, adapting to changes in requirements, legislation and the growth of the business. In 2022 having had their original iteration of the site we created for over 5 years felt that a change was needed to improve the site, its functionality and enhance the Dynamic Lives brand.
We started with a comprehensive design review, examining what we had delivered previously, analysing what was still good with the site, what was bad and needed to change, and what we could enhance with the improvements with technology and web development standards.
We examined user journeys and flows, what aspects of information customers gravitated towards and helped deliver conversions as well as exploring new thought processes and methodologies to enhance the users experience we previously had not been able to explore. Alongside this George and his team wanted to evolve the branding and move away for the dark tones of the older site and go for something lighter and fresher. We took inspiration from the colours of the buildings, land and sea of the destinations on offer to inform the colour palette.

Bringing Dynamic Lives' offering to Life
The new site features an array of high-end imagery and advanced functionality to reflect the prestige of the brand and the accommodation available.
A panoramic video on the homepage helps to fully immerse the user in the product offering, while features such as the card layout and a quick search bar entice the user to look for properties and ultimately submit an enquiry.

Making the Villa Research and Booking Experience better on mobile
One of the key challenges of the new site was the ensure that users could quickly and easily search for and book properties on both desktop and mobile.
Features such as stacked content, tabs, horizontal scrolls and quick call/message options were therefore utilised to maintain a seamless user experience and generate bookings, even on smaller screens.

Be inspired for the next villa holiday.
The ‘Be Inspired’ section helps to group villas into collections and provides users with holiday ideas based on country, location or specific requirements (e.g. villas with heated pools, tennis courts etc.).
Once on the collection page, users can filter and sort the results and change the viewing pane to either list or map view; as well as call, chat or send an enquiry directly to the Dynamic Lives 'team.

Creating aspiration in the details
As one of the more detailed sections on the site, the individual villa pages provide information on the specifics of the selected property.
Users are initially presented with a wealth of high-end imagery, as well as a video tour option; whilst features such as cards, tabs and accordions help to succinctly display the property details (including stats, layout, and map location) in a visually engaging way.
Finally, the dynamic availability calendar allows users to select and check availability on their preferred dates.

Experiencing the Villas on Mobile
A key consideration when designing the site was how the villa pages and content would be displayed on mobile.
This was achieved by condensing and stacking information, splitting content into ‘intro’ and ‘read more’ sections (allowing users to expand where required) and utilising horizontal scrolls and dropdowns as much as possible.
In addition, a 'jump to' navigation option allows users to quickly load the section of interest; whilst a pop-up gallery provides an effective way to scroll through imagery.

The details matter...
A significant part of the redesign focused on some of the smaller details that might just go unnoticed by the average user but help to make the site more user friendly and help with driving leads and conversions. These include fixed position calls to action, adaptive navigation, improved card designs to enhance the property presentation at a glance and indepth filtering to help users find exactly what they want.
